Thurston County Training Cooperative

Thurston County's Fire Training Academy, in partnership with Bate's Technical College, offers instruction, education, and skill sets to fire recruits over the course of a four month academy. Students will learn all the essentials of basic firefighting to include live fire training and International Fire Service Accreditation of Congress (IFSAC) testing for their Firefighter 1 certification. Students, upon course completion, will also gain nineteen (19) college credits for the academy through Bate's Technical College.
